Happy new year everyone. Can you feel the AI?

It’s time for something a bit different. For a while, we’ve wanted to throw a txp about the world of AI & art, not just through the zero-sum lens of copyright/IP debates, but also to unpack how art is a space for AI R&D, i.e. an institution to test AI in ways that aren’t possible elsewhere.

We owe Restless Egg a lot for shaping our thinking here, so we’re excited to be teaming up with them on Fri 31st Jan for Art Made AI, possibly the first ever visual arts exhibition x tech policy panel x club night:

• Demos of new projects & products built by artist-founders

• Discussion about the relationship & future between art and the AI & creative economies

• DJs, drinks, exhibition & dancing til late
